Become an Interventional/Neuro Radiology Technologist at Avera McKennan. Perform a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

We offer a wide variety of neuro interventions, from diagnostic cerebral angiograms to advanced endovascular interventions.
Aneurysm embolization, stroke thrombectomy, and carotid stenting to name a few.
The interdisciplinary team consists of an Endovascular Surgery trained Vascular Neurologist, an Advanced Practice Provider, 18 Registered Nurses and 14 Registered Radiology/Cardiology Technologists.

Job Summary
The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing specialized procedures using sterile techniques and specialized equipment.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program is required.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
ARRT (R) registered or RCIS is required within 60 days of completing an accredited program.
Signature of NRC Confirmatory Order Communication is required.
Work Schedule
Varied Shifts: 7:00am-5:00pm, with weekend/holiday/call involvement; 72 hours every 2 weeks
Every 3rd weekend on call

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
$31.75 - $48.00 per hour
