Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, and collaborative, orthopedic-based Physical Therapist Assistant for our new Four Corners outpatient rehabilitation clinic located at 60 Columbia St., Suite 501, Orlando, FL . This clinic specializes in orthopedic non-operative and post-operative rehabilitation, working alongside our team of physicians in the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute located immediately next door. Duties include, but not limited to, completing patient follow-up visits as part of the established rehabilitation plan of cares and working in collaboration with the overseeing Physical Therapist(s), emphasizing appropriate interventions through utilization of the new and state-of-the-art equipment located within this clinic. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred for this position, as to best enhance the patient experience throughout the continuum of care.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Demonstrates ability to appropriately treat patients according to professional standards of practice.
• Interpersonal communication skills include the ability to coordinate patient care with other team members, and counsel patients
and their families.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

• The Physical Therapist Assistant must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
• The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Associate degree or graduate from an accredited two-year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant.
Licensure/Certification
Current license in the State of Florida as Physical Therapist Assistant.
Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
