Our client Spectrum Insurance Group is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Wisconsin. We're a successful and established company that cares about our employees and clients. Spectrum Insurance Group is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager for our Slinger office. The Account Manager works closely with a team of agents to provide excellent customer service and support to individual and group clients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares submissions and markets new/renewal business to appropriate carriers.
  • Provides coverage recommendations and collects exposures from clients and prospects.
  • Maintains agency management system with up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Serves as liaison between client and vendors/carriers to resolve issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Tracks, manages and documents open issues keeping the client and agent informed of status and resolution.
  • Quotes, analyzes, compares, and recommends coverage options for clients.
  • Manages renewal timeline to ensure timely execution of client decisions.
  • Prepares summaries of insurance, renewals, schedules, and proposals.
  • Reviews client contracts and policies for accuracy.
  • Supports Agents with new and renewal business presentations as needed.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships through pro-active communication.
  • Attends client meetings as required.

Requirements
  • P&C license required with 3+ years of Personal Lines experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, rating, and underwriting procedures.
  • Practical knowledge of quoting process and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including the ability to document and access information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and independently with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Valid WI drivers license and acceptable driving history.
