Job Overview and Responsibilities: 

Seeking a Residential Solar Sales Specialist to join our growing Venture Solar team. We’re looking for qualified candidates with experience selling and closing over the phone. Full-time schedules are available. This will be an in-person opportunity located in our office in Biddeford.

This is not a customer service role.
This is for hard-charging salespeople who know how to make “Yes’s” out of “Maybe’s”.

In this role, you will be responsible for calling homeowners who requested information about the benefits of rooftop solar, qualifying them, kindling their interest in the product, answering any questions they may have, and scheduling their free personalized home energy savings consultation. You earn commission for every completed savings consultation you set up and a second commission if they sign up for solar.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of outbound calling experience
  • Ability to make 25+ dials per hour
  • Ability to perform in a office environment 
  • Self-starter
  • Tech savvy, strong computer skills
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Exceptional listening and communicating skills are essential to success in this role
  • Strong time management and multitasking ability
  • Detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s preferred
  • Friendly yet persistent phone presence
  • Reliable work ethic and self-directed
  • Competitive demeanor

Salary:

  • $15 per hour (Target Earnings  $80k+ after monthly commissions)
