Guaranteed hours - 40 hours

Duration - 13 weeks contract

Weekly Gross $3,562.00

· Certifications: BLS

· Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy AND/OR Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

· Current and active state unrestricted Pharmacy license, Arizona state license preferred
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care services to patients.

*Duties*
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Conduct patient assessments to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Utilize medical terminology in patient interactions and documentation
- Administer medications through various routes including IV infusion
- Provide acute pain management and pain control strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings such as the ER and critical care units
- Apply aseptic techniques in compounding sterile products
- Offer medication counseling and education to patients on proper usage

*Experience*
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong knowledge of acute pain management and pain control principles
- Experience in critical care or emergency room pharmacy settings is preferred
- Familiarity with IV infusion therapy and compounding sterile products
- Ability to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate pharmaceutical interventions

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $3,562.00 per week
