This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity for a Network Administrator.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><ul><li><strong>Network Design and Implementation:</strong></li><li>Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks using Aruba, Meraki, and Cisco technologies.</li><li>Configure and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.</li><li><strong>Cloud Integration and Management:</strong></li><li>Manage and support cloud-based network solutions in AWS, including VPCs, EC2 instances, and other related services.</li><li>Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on-premises networks with AWS environments.</li><li>Automate deployment and management of cloud network resources using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.</li><li><strong>Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:</strong></li><li>Monitor network performance to ensure the availability and reliability of network services using tools from Aruba, Meraki, and Cisco.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Conduct regular network performance tuning and capacity planning.</li><li><strong>Security Management:</strong></li><li>Implement and manage network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.</li><li>Maintain and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across all network devices and cloud environments.</li><li>Monitor network security and respond to security incidents using IDS/IPS and firewall solutions.</li><li><strong>Documentation and Reporting:</strong></li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and changes.</li><li>Prepare reports on network performance, usage, and security incidents.</li><li>Develop and maintain network diagrams and architecture documentation.</li><li><strong>Collaboration and Support:</strong></li><li>Work closely with other IT team members to support and integrate network solutions with other IT systems.</li><li>Provide technical support and training to end-users and other staff members.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the effective delivery of network services.</li></ul><br>Required Skills and Qualifications<br><ul><li><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in network administration or a related role.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></li><li>Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).</li><li>Hands-on experience with network hardware from Aruba, Meraki, and Cisco.</li><li>Proficiency in managing cloud environments, particularly AWS.</li><li>Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.</li><li>Familiarity with network security practices and tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong></li><li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.</li><li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent.</li><li>Aruba and Meraki certifications are highly desirable.</li></ul>
