Join our team to take care of general facility maintenance and repair tasks. Experience in pneumatic and direct digital control is a must. We are looking for individuals with strong knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, and ice machines, as well as troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment. Be ready to handle pipe cutting and threading, install filter systems, and work on medical gas systems. Familiarity with high-pressure steam boilers, circulating pumps, and OSHA regulations is essential. Additionally, being skilled in electrical controls, soldering, and performing preventative maintenance programs are valuable assets. Prepare to lift heavy objects, climb, and assist with snow removal duties while maintaining a strong level of self-motivation.

Key Responsibilities
  • 55% Respond to work orders related to area temperature issues, pump replacements, refrigerant system repairs, and equipment adjustments for construction projects.
  • 25% Perform preventive maintenance tasks like filter changes, coil cleaning, belt replacements, and ice machine services.
  • 10% Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as refrigerant reclaiming and fire barrier repairs.
  • 10% Look for opportunities to enhance the patient/visitor experience by updating heating and cooling systems and optimizing HVAC components for comfort.
Requirements

Mandatory:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare Facilities or Trade
Certifications

Mandatory:

  • Universal Refrigerant Reclaiming license
