Patriot Supply Unlimited, Inc dba The Patriot Group is seeking a reliable and hardworking Contract Fire Resource (CFR) Site Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to support the overall operations and maintenance of our fire support teams. The individuals will perform a variety of manual labor duties, including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, and assisting in the assembly of products. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.A contract fire resource personnel is a temporary worker who provides firefighting and fire prevention services on a contract basis. Fire experience and certifications for ICS-100, L-180, S-130, S-131, S-190, and IS-700 are required.

The job responsibilities of a contract fire resource personnel may include: Responding during emergencies: The personnel must be able to quickly and effectively respond to work during fire emergencies and other related incidents.

Firefighting duties: They must be skilled in using fire fighting equipment and performing fire suppression.

Fire prevention: Contract fire resource personnel are responsible for identifying and mitigating fire hazards, conducting fire safety inspections, and providing fire prevention education to the public.

Maintenance of equipment: They must be able to properly maintain firefighting equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition at all times.

Collaboration with other agencies: The personnel may need to work with other agencies and organizations during emergency situations, such as police, fire departments, and utility companies.

Training and professional development: Contract fire resource personnel must maintain their skills and knowledge through regular training and professional development opportunities.

General Responsibilities:

1. Perform general tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment both indoors and outdoors, often in extreme conditions.

2. Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the worksite, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials.

3. Operate basic hand and power tools, as well as other machinery, following safety guidelines and procedures.

4. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery as directed by the supervisor.

5. Assist in the assembly, packaging, and labeling of products as per specifications.

6. Follow instructions and blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

7. Attend regular meetings and training sessions to improve knowledge and productivity.

8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, reporting any potential hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

9. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete daily tasks and projects on time.

10. Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

11. Operate and properly maintain fire service machinery to include chainsaws, pole saws, and other brush clearing equipment

12. Maintain a drivers license and be able to operate a light duty truck and water tender.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience in a general labor role is preferred but not required.

3. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, blueprints, and safety guidelines.

4. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as machinery used in general labor tasks.

5. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

6. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

7. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

8. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

9. Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and different work environments.

10. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

11. Fire experience and certifications for ICS-100, L-180, S-130, S-131, S-190, and IS-700
