Vector' s partner in Eastlake, OH is a leading manufacturer of highly-engineered castings and sub-assemblies primarily for the commercial aerospace, defense and industrial gas turbine markets. They are looking for a HR Generalist to join their team!

Summary 
The human resource generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. 

Responsibilities 

• Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, duties, qualification and skills.
• Recruits, interviews, tests and selects employees to fill vacant positions both through the internal and external job posting program. Adheres to AAP and all legal requirements for job posting and hiring process.
• Input temporary hours and track attendance on a weekly basis.
• Develops and maintains network of contacts and works with external recruiters and employment agencies to help identify and source qualified candidates.
• Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
• Works with EHS and Quality department to assist in the administration and coordination of Respiratory Protection, Vision Testing, Hearing Conservation and Personal Protective Equipment Programs.
• Responsible for reviewing payroll and submitting employee changes to payroll and ensuring accuracy.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating company events. 

Qualifications

• Associate' s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’ s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: PHR preferred
