The Audit team is seeking a Strategic Project Manager. This role will be an integral position in the technology and emerging growth practice area and the person will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure accurate and timely communications and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within the required timeframe.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

  • Overseeing the migration of approximately 600 audit files from the CCH/KC legacy audit platform to the DAS through XCM between June through September and work with Niche Utilization coordinators to make sure jobs are appropriately assigned. Ensure that the migration process is completed on time and within budget, with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Monitoring the planning, fieldwork, and completion stages of the approximately 600 audit engagements which are being conducted in DAS. Ensure that all planning activities are for these engagement are completed by December 1, 2024. This will be monitored through XCM to make sure engagement teams are hitting there target dates and to report to the stakeholders. Work with the Niche Utilization coordinators to make sure jobs are appropriately scheduled and team members are being utilized for the days they are scheduled to complete training
  • Monitoring the email to assign team members from the champions group and monitor who has assisted other team members
  • Monitoring the Caseware feedback form and send updates to Caseware for product enhancements/defects. Summarize the feedback weekly and send common themes and issues and assign team members to help create content for the WWE to help address training needs
  • Monitoring and tracking audit and tax files that are held in engagement. Monitor the information which will be put into the Box platform for file storage
  • Regularly communicating project status to stakeholders, including issues, risks, and mitigation strategies. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress and outcomes
  • Identifying potential risks and issues that could impact the successful completion of the migration project and timing of the completion of planning files. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address these risks
  • Leading and managing the project team to ensure that project objectives are achieved. Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

  • Required Education Level: Bachelor's degree
  • PMP certification is a Major Plus
  • Required Years of Experience: 5+ years' experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong personal and communication skills both written and verbal; able to adapt to a variety of styles and personalities
  • High sense of urgency and ability to project manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with several technology platforms including Microsoft Office suite and learn our project management platform
  • Reliable, productive, and self-motivated; able to work well under pressure

  • Able to learn and adapt to new and complex procedures quickly

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. New York City ranges are from $65,000 - $90,000 annually
