Description

We are seeking passionate Electrical Utility Distribution Engineers who are dedicated to ensuring high-quality design engineering for electric utility projects. This role includes developing design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems, along with performing field data collection and engineering calculations. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work both in the field and office settings. Prior experience with distribution design tools and NESC standards is preferred.

Expectations:

  • Develop design and construction work packages for electrical distribution systems
  • Perform field data collection and engineering calculations
  • Interact frequently with customers and review work provided by clients
  • Provide engineering support during construction and conduct root cause analysis of outages
  • Coordinate conflicting utilities and develop large design packages for complex projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for mid-level candidates, 4 years for senior-level
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to utilize a personal vehicle for travel
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in outdoor environments
  • Prior experience with distribution design tools and NESC standards is preferred
