Job Summary
The Hospital@Home model makes acute hospital-level care available to adults and particularly older adults where they live, rather than in a traditional hospital setting. This position involves the provision of nursing care, care coordination, lab draws, nebulizer treatments, and other care as needed for patients during their acute stay.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota may be required depending on the service area.
- This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts, including every 3rd weekend and occasional call; 72 hours per 2 weeks.
Pay
- $29.50 - $44.25 per hour
