Job Summary:

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the enrollment and related administrative tasks of all UCP benefits including health, welfare, and retirement in both GA and SC. Manages and maintains employee changes within the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Process Change of Status & Terminations for GA & SC. Process New Hires in ADP. Process Annual Increases. Process Employment Verifications. Process Employees on Leave (FMLA, Workers Comp, LWOP, Admin ). Reconcile and Submit Benefits Invoices. Perform a quarterly audit of benefits. Process DDP Authorizations (New Hires/Terminations). Provide Customer Service to staff for Benefits and Compensation concerns. Manage activities related to ACA reporting and compliance. Assists employees and HR Team with problem-solving and claims/issue resolution. Oversees the daily functions of benefits processes/procedures. Provides customer service for the HR field and employee participants. Follow up with employees, HR managers, and insurance carriers on issues. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a high email/call volume. Works on error resolution with the benefit carriers. Works with the broker on the entry of employees and exit into benefits plans. Process Change of Status (COS) forms and termination forms. Disposition candidates to hire. Liaison with payroll as it pertains to: Request forms, Deductions, Extra Duty Pay, Start/Stop dates, etc. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent. Three to five plus years of progressive experience in Human Resources positions. Specialized training in benefits, billing and invoicing as well as some knowledge of payroll in a company with 500+ employees Problem solving and analytical experience required, ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise Knowledge of ADP preferred Expert knowledge of Excel Strong sense of ownership and involvement and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Must have the ability to manage time and multiple projects efficiently and achieve required results. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to occasionally move about to access file cabinets, office machinery and other locations in the building. Must be able to continually operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copier machine and computer printers. Must be able to communicate and converse with others, detect and discern others communication, and express oneself. Must be able to relay information to all levels of staff. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 lbs. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
