Salary: $103,000 - $146,000 per year
Job Description:
As a Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care and consultation to patients, contributing to diagnostic and therapeutic processes, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Your role will involve:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care:
  • Conduct detailed patient evaluations and medical assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Monitor and manage ongoing patient care and treatment progress.
  • Consultation and Collaboration:
  • Provide expert advice to other healthcare professionals on complex medical cases.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in case discussions, rounds, and patient care meetings.
  • Medical Procedures:
  • Perform specialized medical procedures and interventions as required.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and protocols during procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Education and Training:
  • Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and techniques.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensing: Valid medical license to practice in New York State.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a specialized medical field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certifications: Board certification in a relevant specialty is desirable.
