SUMMARY:

The RVP – Wealth Management Consultant is responsible for nurturing and expanding our referral partnerships, working alongside Allworth Advisors to cultivate new client relationships, and ensuring new business success in their assigned sales region. The role requires best-in-class relationship management, communication, and leadership skills. Additionally, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to facilitate optimal outcomes for clients. The RVP – Wealth Management Consultant is a pivotal role at Allworth, serving as a regional leader to the broader sales field. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder with a proven track record of success and a strong sense of urgency.

The RVP – Wealth Management Consultant works actively as the sales and relationship management leader of their assigned region, and: (1) Serves as the singular point of contact for external referral partners in their assigned sales region, nurturing and expanding those relationships and building a strong pipeline of prospective new business; (2) Effectively coordinates with Allworth advisors, referral partners, and prospective clients during each step of the sales cycle in a timely fashion; and (3) Oversees the onboarding process to ensure a superior client experience and new business success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Singular point of contact for referral partners (33%)

Build rapport and establish trust with external referral partners

Consistently and effectively communicate Allworth’s value proposition and ideal client persona to the field

Create a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through qualified external channels

Regularly present to prospective clients and referring partners at various regional events and meetings

Serve as the ultimate ambassador for Allworth’s services and value provide

2. Sales cycle coordination with all internal and external parties (33%)

Learn and understand regional Allworth advisors’ capabilities, areas of expertise, and growth goals to connect them with the right prospective clients

Engage with and identify prospective client needs and communicate to assigned Allworth advisor

Inform and help create all prospective client deliverables including financial planning, investments, estate, and tax advice to achieve optimal outcomes

Client experience & new business success (34%)

Maintain up-to-date and superior knowledge of Allworth’s solutions, capabilities, and service offerings

Present proposed solutions to prospective clients and guide the overall sales cycle alongside the assigned Allworth advisor in a timely fashion and to ultimately achieve new business success

Contribute to a positive work environment and culture and consistently demonstrate Allworth’s guiding principles

Strive for continuous market growth and achievement of regional goals set by sales leadership

Willingness to travel 50-75%

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning or related, or equivalent experience

5+ of successful sales experience in financial services or a related field

Strong financial planning and investment management knowledge

Series 65 or combination Series 7 and Series 66 licenses

Qualified credential, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC), strongly preferred

Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM a plus

Superior relationship management, communication, and presentation skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be in good compliance standing with all rules, regulations, and policies, including a clean U4 and solid registration history

Base of $120-150K plus Variable Compensation based on experience, production volume and territory. Estimated total compensation of $250-500K
