Job Title: Planning Engineering Technician

Job Purpose:

The Planning Technician supports engineering activities such as design, modification and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Plan jobs using InPlan and InStack applications to create production travelers for a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing plan Complete controlled impedance stack-ups, instruct CAM operators on all tooling requirements, answer technical questions from other departments, as well as, effectively communicate with customers. Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review on customer designs. Perform spec-review and spec-summary on all customer documents and/or industry standards. Education and Experience:

Preferred engineering degree or associate's degree in engineeringwith2+ years equivalent design systems experience. Experience in planning, product engineering, and tooling in a PCB manufacturing environment required. Familiarity with standard manufacturing design rules, blueprints, customer specifications and industry standards such as IPC. Experience using a CAD/CAM system is helpful Good written and verbal customer communication skills.

Salary Range (annual) : $64,272.00 - $75,971.00
