American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid; and, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
Completion of required Incident Command System (ICS) courses in accordance with established Borough policy.

- Provides customer service to pool patrons; provides information and assistance; admits patrons and collects fees; maintains usage records.
- Provides lifeguarding services; educates pool patrons and observers about pool safety; administers emergency first aid/CPR/AED as needed; completes incident reports.
- Instructs swimming lessons, Water Safety Instructor training, and other pool programs.
- Monitors and regulates pool and spa conditions to prevent accidents and minimize hazardous conditions.
- Open and closes the facility.
- Conducts tours of the facility.
- Completes required reports.
