What You'll Be Doing: Responsible for establishing a BD Pipeline of opportunities related to DoD (Army, USACE, National Guard, Air Force and others) by leveraging their proven full life cycle business development and capture experience. Develop and maintain the DoD opportunity tracking pipeline, and report weekly to the company on progress Develop and execute DoD call planning directly aligned to the developed pipeline and strategic accounts such as Army, USACE, National Guard, Air Force, etc. Identify, capture, and develop proposals in support of DoD related opportunities as required Leverage in-depth proven knowledge of DoD customer (Army, USACE, National Guard, Air Force and others) mission requirements and IT buying habits to research customer segments, clients and strategies to increase qualified leads. Responsible for leveraging current DoD (Army, USACE, National Guard, Air Force and others) client relationships and developing new relationships related directly to the pipeline. Join relevant industry associations and actively engage in and attend DoD related industry events Develop a set of small business partners within the Army and DoD ecosystem Identify and negotiate teaming opportunities for top deals Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

BS/BA degree in Business, IT or related discipline OR comparable experience 8+ years' experience with capture management and business development including capture of DoD IT related work; military background preferred, but not required. Or 8-10 years of military related work with industry business development experience Customer relationships within DoD (preferably within Army or other aligned clients) and/or other Federal agencies Experience with all aspects of business development including call plan development and execution as well as capture management A high level of oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients and internally with various levels of leadership, capture and proposal operations, accounts and marketing In-depth knowledge of government IT contracting, acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors specifically within DoD Strong negotiation skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple business develop opportunities to meet growth goals Who We Are
