I am recruiting for a bread and butter GI opportunity located in Idaho. This opportunity is in a wonderful community in the Pacific Northwest. The city is in southeast Idaho, the western foothills of the Rocky Mountains along the Oregon Trail. It has strong public and private schools, and a Midsized State University. This is a hospital employed position. They currently have 4 GIs, with one of the 4 to retire by the end of the year (can add a new GI anytime between now and the end of the year). They have a stand-alone Endoscopy Center near the hospital, but have the same options for GI within the hospital as well. Call is one in 4, but the 4th weekend is covered by another GI who is located in Salt Lake City who comes to cover that 4th weekend. There is also the option of ERCP if one has the expertise and interest. This is a wide-open opportunity.
