cFocus Software is seeking an Operations Manager to join our program. Locations: Washington, DC, Annapolis Junction, MD, & Reston, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.Qualifications:Active TS/SCI CI PolygraphITIL Certified5+ years of Operations Manager experience in the areas of: Availability ManagementIncident ManagementProblem ManagementDisaster Recovery ManagementContinuous Monitoring ManagementChange ManagementPatch ManagementExperience with training and mentoring new and existing members of the Operations Team.Create and continuously update Operations management dashboards with essential availability, and continuously of patch related metrics.Create and maintain SOP's for all aspects of the Operations Team. Schedule and Manage night and weekend on call schedules to perform maintenance and outages.In depth understanding of Availability management and detailed plans to continuously improve the availability of Operational systems. Communication and collaboration with the team to ensure full understanding of roles and responsibilities. Advanced time management and analytical skills.Excellent client-facing communication skills.Desired:5- 10+ years of Linux experienceDoD 8570 Level II - Security+CE8+ years of experience in presentation and briefing.8+ years of experience in planning and delegation for efficient team operations.Bachelor's degreeDuties:Responsible for managing a team of experienced professionals who are sitting at three physically diverse locations both CONUS and OCONUS.Leads, directs, and reviews the work of the team who are independent on their assignments.Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports as well as time-and-material subcontractors operating in a blended subcontractor team.Duties may include updating to new systems, as well as support on current systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space, and implementing critical system patches.Responsible for creating and maintaining system documentation to include diagrams, configuration details, admin guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Responsible for laptop and desktop imaging process including infrastructure to support this activity.Duties may include updating to next gen technology, managing legacy systems, and coordination with multi-functional team support to ensure a high-quality product for customers.Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.Track task and project performance of the direct reports, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.Works to influence project leaders regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches.Utilizes expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles, and concepts.
