Your day-to-day as an Academic Coach

As an Academic Coach at Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County, no two days will ever be the same! You'll have the thrilling opportunity to work with Club Members, guiding them toward academic success. A typical day will involve implementing our Power Hour Homework Program, where you'll assist students, ensuring their school work is completed. You'll be their academic cheerleader, checking for missing assignments, helping with current work, and even creating fun incentives to keep them motivated. But wait, there's more!

You'll also get to plan exciting and interactive High Yield learning activities and programs, making education come alive for our Club Members. Imagine the smiles on their faces as they engage in hands-on learning experiences, discovering new passions and skills. As a bonus, you'll work alongside our incredible Youth Development Professionals, building strong rapport and relationships with Club Members, and supporting their social and emotional health. What you need to be successful
