*Job description- Shift Leader*

At Tully’s Tenders, “What We Do” is serve “The Best Tenders on Earth”, Hot, Fresh, Fast!! Tully’s Tenders is looking for fun and energetic individuals to fill hourly Shift Leader positions. Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the management team and General Manager in all aspects of shift management. The Shift Leader assists in providing direction, training, and the skill to ensure that the Guests’ expectations are exceeded, Team Members are treated fairly and with respect and that each shift reaches its business goals. Shift Leaders may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager, following established opening and closing procedures. *Responsibilities- Shift Leader*

-Food Quality – making sure great tasting, high quality food is served. Resolving food quality issues. Managing food safety which includes the following: ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, and enforcing the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures

-Commitment to exceed guest expectations – resolving customer incidents and working to ensure positive customer experiences

-Staff Development and Management: Train, coach, and mentor employees in order to help them achieve success in their position, both back and front of the house. Lead and maintain a positive team atmosphere. Manage Team breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and schedules. Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling. Assist with Team performance reviews and developing future Leaders.

Administrative – Assist with administrative duties such as: banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork. Overseeing office equipment and supplies, and inventory. Troubleshooting POS and back-office systems.

-Ensures that Team Members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness

-Operations: Lead fun, high energy shifts; use company provided tools to run high performing shifts; be a hands-on

working leader; is able to read, interpret and positively impact P&L statements; ensures that Team Members work at

a pace to maintain restaurants established speed of service guidelines

-Entrepreneurial Spirit: Build sales, increase profits, and grow customer counts. Perform various administration duties

*Qualifications- Shift Leader*

-High School Diploma/GED Required

-Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

-Minimum of 1 year restaurant experience

-Outstanding leadership and communication skills

-Ability to develop, coach, and motivate team members

-Ability to multitask and prioritize

-Open availability

-Ability to relocate is a plus and offers more room for advancement

-Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
