PRN Gastroenterology Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a PRN provider, you will work on a flexible schedule, providing comprehensive medical and nursing assessments to diagnose and treat patients. Your expertise will serve as a valuable resource for our patient care team, and you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with physicians and staff to optimize patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care for patients referred to the GI service, working proactively with the team to optimize patient care and safety.
- Participate in staff and patient education, developing educational materials that promote current clinical practice guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with GI attending physicians and support staff to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Nursing, with a graduate degree from a Nurse Practitioner Program. You should also have at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a CCNE-accredited school or a Maryland Physician Assistant license.
