Location: Chicopee, MA
Shift: Day. M-F
The Chicopee sites consist of two buildings, covering 120,000 sq. ft. with 120 employees, located 5 miles apart. The facilities support manufacturing, labs, warehousing, and administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Run day-to-day facilities operations, EHS compliance, and employee services.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of infrastructure projects, including greenfield construction and office relocations.
  • Provide technical expertise for design, constructability, budget, and schedule in construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and Global Security regulations and Agilent policies.
  • Champion sustainability programs and represent Agilent with external regulators.
  • Collaborate with business units to optimize infrastructure services and support business growth.
  • Lead all aspects of an annual budget (opex and capex) and develop supplier and team goals.
  • Maintain relationships with tenants and handle real estate needs.
  • Support EHS systems/programs and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct incident investigations and EHS audits, maintaining an EHS Management system.
  • Lead emergency response preparedness and implement related procedures.
  • Communicate effectively across various interpersonal levels and formats.
  • Effective teamwork within a matrix organization.
  • Management of sophisticated priorities and risk mitigation.
  • Technical support and training in sophisticated EHS assessments and control technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, or EHS.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in facility/project engineering, EHS, or Regulatory/Compliance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience in life sciences or injection molding manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong eye for business and results-oriented mentality.
  • High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire change and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic and tactical skill balance.
  • Experience with hazard and risk assessments in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of design-build and plan-to-specification construction processes.
