Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Presque Isle, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/28/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Beds: 89 Licensed Beds Teaching Facility General Information: Imaging Rooms CT: 1 room Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes – would prefer more Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types: Care areas: ED, Outpatient, Inpatient Primarily Adult/Geriatrics with some Peds Outpatient: Oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, trauma Biopsies (experience not required – will train) Patients seen in a day (average per day): 25-30 scans Required Licensure and Certifications: BLS ARRT (R) & (CT) required ME State license Skills required: CTA studies, Experience with general studies IV start skills (preferred) Biopsy exp (preferred) Experience with Toshiba and GE (preferred) Support on the Unit: Lead Tech 2 techs on weekdays and evenings and 1 on weekends Internal Transport Radiologist on site Technology/Equipment: EMR: Cerner PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA Equipment used: Toshiba Aquilion 64 & GE 16 slice PET CT (used as backup CT machine) – experience preferred with Toshiba & GE but not required Floating: Fixed location for CT Orientation: 1-1.5 weeks, based on experience/comfort level Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Varies based on need – specifics will be sent over with requisition for interview (check with CRT if you do not receive this) No call required Holiday Expectations: done in rotation with other techs RTO: Manager Approval Scrub Color: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed Parking: Free About Travel Nurse Across America At TNAA, we take pride in doing things differently.
