Rapiscan Systems Inc, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Business Development Account Specialist in its Billerica, MA Facility.

This position requires an energetic, detail oriented, self-starter who is willing to learn and assist in the growth of the services business. The individual will work with the Sr. Director and fellow Business Development Account Specialists to grow services revenues by assisting in the follow up and renewal of cargo service contracts with a focus on Gatekeeper and Radiation products, supporting the sales of spare parts, supporting products sales and growing the overall business. This individual will assist in services/sales proposal efforts, the maintenance of service contract filings, updating services marketing brochures and additional services marketing information.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the Product Sales Bid Team with services pricing, spares pricing and services deliverable in response to RFI & RFPs
  • Create and assist in the generation of service quotes and proposals in reponse to bid
  • Support and track renewals and opportunities using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Excel and MS TEAMS
  • Support the Sales of Spare Parts quotes utilizing Word based templates tools
  • Assist in the implementation of programs to grow the services revenue
  • Analyze opportunits and mine the install base to look for Winback opportunties

  • Work with management to improve business related processes.
  • Focus on costs savings by planning and arranging travel accommodations as soon as practical.
  • Travel is to be booked via Rapiscan | AS&E approved travel agencies and utilizing Rapiscan | AS&E security travel provider.
  • Compliance to Rapiscan | AS&E policy and approvals for High Risk Countries is required.
  • Detail plans to improve execution of Service, revenue and margin from business tools and lessons learned.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Travel Requirements:

  • Possess the willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
  • Work independently to plan and arrange travel accommodations within Rapiscan | AS&E guidelines.
  • Possess the flexibility and capability to deal with sudden changes (i.e. customer schedules, flight delays, on site weather delays etc.).
  • Maintain and organize expense receipts and work independently to manage administrative tasks, including the timely submission of expenses and other administrative reporting as required.
  • The ability to obtain site passes, clearances and Visas as required to carry out job responsibilities.
  • Maintain valid passport and credit card as required to support business travel.
  • Understand and comply with company travel policy, including security travel.
  • Ability to pass company background checks, and maintain good standing.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Assciates Degree or B.S. preferred.
  • Minimum 2 + years (or equivalent experience) of supporting complex Services and Sales opportunities.
  • Some Technical background or, Services Experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage both proposals and administrative functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Working knowledge of MS D365 workflow management systems or similar ERP system.
  • Must be able to work independently and make logical decisions based upon Rapiscan AS&E guidelines.
