Position Overview: We are currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest and their pet receives exceptional service from the moment they walk through our doors. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a genuine love for people and dogs.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures for their pets.
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing information about our services, rates, and availability.
  • Schedule appointments and reservations for boarding, daycare, grooming, and other services using our reservation system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including handling paperwork and processing payments accurately.
  • Monitor and update pet records, ensuring that all necessary information is current and complete.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed to support the overall success of the resort.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a pet-related environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and reservation software.
  • Passion for working with animals and providing outstanding care and service to pets and their owners.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
