What you'll bring
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Experience coding in Java, Spring frameworks, Python, Go, or Kotlin Experience coding in one of the leading JavaScript / Typescript frameworks Deep knowledge/experience with data architecture: SQL, NoSQL, and data caching technologies/in-memory databases such as MemCached and Redis Experience working with large volumes of data and knowledge of big data machine learning techniques Strong foundation in RESTful APIs, data structures, algorithms, software design and security Expertise in working with container deployment and orchestration technologies at scale with strong knowledge of the fundamentals to include service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Go and Docker preferred Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and PagerDuty Building strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent, cross-functional leader Experience designing and maintaining large-scale backend web services Passionate about building and running distributed systems at scale in production
