Position Responsibilities: * Evaluates, assesses and documents patient's hemodynamic response to therapeutic intervention by accurate cardiovascular monitoring. Reports abnormal rhythm to physician. * Monitors, evaluates, documents and trouble shoots patients hemodynamic response with the use of cath lab specialty equipment. * Accurately transcribes, reviews and carry's out physician orders. * Assess and reassess as per hospital policy. * Competent in the insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters * Monitors, evaluates and intervenes appropriately with patients receiving conscious sedation. * Demonstrates appropriate safety measures as it relates to potential radiation exposure. * Responds to diagnostic data and initiates appropriate action or intervention. * Assesses and implements safety devices pre-intra-post Cardiac Cath procedures. * Demonstrates proper groin management for arterial sheath interventions.
