Job Summary:
We are in search of a professional Nuclear Medicine Technologist that will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to aid in the detection and treatment of various medical conditions. Your expertise will contribute to patient care and the advancement of medical science.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners to capture images of internal body structures.
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient conditions and medical histories.
  • Position patients and ensure their comfort while obtaining high-quality images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to address any discomfort or adverse reactions.
  • Analyze images and data for clarity, quality, and accuracy; prepare them for interpretation by radiologists or physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to regulatory and quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure proper disposal and handling of radioactive materials and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, quality control, and troubleshoot any technical issues.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, radiation safety, and imaging procedures.
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment such as gamma cameras, SPECT scanners, and PET scanners.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate image interpretation.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with patients and medical professionals.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
