Job Details
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
  • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
  • Report analysis and findings to management team.
  • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
  • Advise management about tax strategies and issues.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports.
  • Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm.
  • Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assist in the financial planning and decision-making process.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA or EA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.
  • Proficient in tax preparation, financial analysis, financial reporting, tax advisory, and financial statements.
  • Strong understanding of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
