We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager - Supply Chain and 340B to:

  • Coordinate all aspects of pharmacy purchasing operations and contracting between hospital and ambulatory entities. Must work in cooperation with site leaders and Pharmacy Purchasing staff as well as the group purchasing organization, wholesaler, and prime vendor.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of purchasing specific policies and procedures, including but not limited to medication recalls, loan-borrow, and drug shortage management.
  • Manage and lead 340B programs and personnel throughout UW Health, including Wisconsin and Illinois region Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) entities, Hemophilia Treatment Center, Access Community Health Centers, Ryan White HIV/AIDS program, and contract pharmacy arrangements.
  • Continually monitor 340B regulations to ensure federal compliance, stay up-to-date on all rule changes, and ensure appropriate documentation and audit trail across areas of responsibility.
  • Continually look for new program development opportunities and execute plans for implementation and sustainment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
  • Pharm D degree.
  • Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area.

Work Experience

  • Completion of an ASHP PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or five (5) years of relevant work experience. Required
  • Three years of health-system pharmacy leadership or management experience. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or must obtain within 90 days of hire date. Required
  • Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.). Preferred
