Fleet Maintenance

Mechanic -Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.

 Knowledge:

• Basic Knowledge of care and maintenance for vehicles and ATV equipment. Performing Oil Changes, Checking Fluid Levels and rotating tires.  Repair worn parts. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and a minimum of five years of related experience and /or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Problem Solving, identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

• Oral Communication, speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.  The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
