LHH is seeking to hire a Manager of Finance Planning to focus on regulatory filings with the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC). This pivotal role entails financial forecasts, strategic business planning, and advocating for necessary rate adjustments to ensure the company's financial performance aligns with regulatory standards and operational objectives.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Develop and execute the company's financial regulatory strategy, encompassing timely recognition of investments within the rate base in accordance with strategic plans.</li><li>Lead strategic forecasting and planning initiatives, including the 5-year planning process and acquisition evaluations, to anticipate and address regulatory impacts effectively.</li><li>Serve as a primary witness and provide expert support for regulatory activities, ensuring alignment with individual rate case requirements.</li><li>Provide strategic direction on regulatory accounting practices in compliance with ASC980 standards, reflecting ICC orders and precedents.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure regulatory compliance throughout proceedings, including liaison with legal counsel and consultants.</li><li>Direct the comprehensive preparation of base rate case filings and associated documentation, overseeing revisions and necessary adjustments.</li><li>Facilitate timely and accurate completion of regulatory filings, including QIPS, Earnings Reports, Tariff Supplements, and Original Cost Studies.</li><li>Offer subject matter expertise and strategic analysis to support the company's acquisition and growth initiatives, liaising with valuation consultants as needed.</li><li>Engage in utility commission policy investigations and maintain regulatory relationships within assigned jurisdictions.</li><li>Act as a communication liaison with relevant Commission staff members, representing the company's interests effectively.</li></ul><br><strong>Qualifications</strong>:<br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field</li><li>Extensive experience in financial planning, regulatory compliance, and rate case management within the utilities or energy sector.</li><li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage regulatory filings, and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Familiarity with regulatory accounting standards and utility commission proceedings, particularly within the Illinois Commerce Commission jurisdiction.</li></ul><br>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
