Nestlé Regional Globe Office North America, Inc. seeks a Senior Specialist IT Solution Architect in Arlington VA

 

Duties: Apply enterprise architecture principles to product groups and platforms that fit within the overall enterprise architecture and meet the product strategy. Lead analysis and design tasks related to the development of a product within a product group. Work with DevOps and development teams and suppliers to ensure optimal product delivery according to the product strategy and the overall value for money objectives linked to overall Information Technology strategy. Supervise design and integration execution within the scope of their products and platforms. Collaborate with the integration platform team. Collaborate on the solution architecture specification. Liaise closely with suppliers and the business to define functional, technical, and process integration. Manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope platform and deliver the architectural design for products. Translate business needs into a solution blueprint representing the end-to-end technical solution. Lead the implementation and integration of technical architecture across Marketing, Sales, and eBusiness based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, and business requirements. Domestic and international travel required up to 5 % of time. Telework is acceptable up to 2 days per week.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, System Analysis or a closely related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as IT Product Manager, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Required experience must include each of the following:

 

  • 4 years of experience with at least two IT solution development disciplines of the following: technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or database operations;
  • 3 years of experience with the design of cloud-based architecture;
  • 2 years of experience with enterprise architecture design;
  • 2 years of experience with agile methodology;
  • 2 years of experience with processing environments including hybrid enterprise landscapes utilizing cloud, multi cloud, and on-premise solutions;
  • 2 years of experience applying architecture patterns, leveraging data assets, and optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO);
  • 2 years of experience with cloud-native technology and API-led design principles;
  • 2 years of experience in financial models and budgeting.

 

Domestic and international travel required up to 5 % of time. Telework is acceptable up to 2 days per week.
