It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!<br> <br>We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.<br> <br> <b>SUMMARY</b> <br> <br>The Filtration Production Associate position is a multi-faceted role, which involves light manufacturing creating parts/filters for filtration equipment, as well as other general tasks including pulling and prepping orders for shipment, organizing the warehouse and moving materials/products. <br> <br> <b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b> <br> <br>Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<br> <br>Learns to assemble/produce filtration products, including production of rubber bladders and cloth filters.<br> <br>Works within the team to meet productivity and quality levels.<br> <br>Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.<br> <br>Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintains clean shipping supply area; complies with procedures, rules and regulations.<br> <br>Contributes to team effort, willing totake on various responsibilities as needed.<br> <br>Follows all quality control guidelines.<br> <br>Meets attendance requirements.<br> <br>Follows and enforces company policies and procedures for safety.<br> <br>The proceeding duties are typical for this position; however, this description may not include all of the duties that the role may encompass. <br> <br>Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.<br> <br>Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.<br> <br>Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Fosters an environment in which they will report any violations or reasonably suspected violation of CNI policy, FAR, and/or CFR and are comfortable discussing the myriad compliance, conflict, FAR, CFR, etc. issues that arise during the performance of a government contract. <br> <br> <b>EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE</b> <br> <br>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in a shop/warehouse environment. Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus.<br> <br> <b>CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION</b> <br> <br> <b>JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES</b> <br> <br>Good organization and time-management skills with ability to be reliable in attendance / punctuality.<br> <br>Ability to practice and promote required safety standards.<br> <br>Ability to receive instructions and accurately complete assignments in a timely manner.<br> <br>Ability to effectively perform work both independently and in a team environment.<br> <br> <b>LANGUAGE SKILLS</b> <br> <br>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.<br> <br> <b>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</b> <br> <br>Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.<br> <br> <b>REASONING ABILITY</b> <br> <br>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.<br> <br> <b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</b> <br> <br>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly exposed to general office and general office machinery noise.
