JOB DESCRIPTION: FIELD SUPERVISOR - 

Field Trucking Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating field activities, dispatching, checking and running crews and reviewing tickets in the field. They ensure that all duties are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Investigate and report any incidents or near-miss events and implement corrective actions.

Operations Management:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate field operations, maintenance, employee development and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Optimize operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Dispatching crews and drivers

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and lead a team of field technicians, operators, and support staff.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a competent and motivated workforce.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or disciplinary actions as needed.

Equipment and Resource Management:

  • Manage equipment, tools, and materials required for field operations.
  • Schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Track inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.

Client Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Address client concerns and provide updates on project progress.
  • Identify opportunities for new customers and revenue streams.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that work is performed according to industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and service quality.
  • Reviewing tickets for accuracy

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to field operations.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management and customers.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and environmental standards.
  • Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 5 years of experience in oilfield trucking services
  • Strong knowledge of oilfield trucking and transportation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective leadership in promoting safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding and remote field environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools for reporting and data analysis.
