Keep the Principal or his/her designee informed on all problems and accomplishments within the assigned area; Assist in the management of the activities of students assigned under the Principal or his/her designee's; Take immediate action to resolve conflicts between students and/or staff; Report the status of student behavior regularly to the Principal or his/her designee; Receive, evaluate, and forward reports from students and staff, taking necessary steps to determine cause, resolving problems and informing the Principal or his/her designee; Assist with establishing priorities for work to be completed; Enforce the established safety rules and regulations; Attend meetings, seminars, .. to enhance the knowledge required for the position as directed by the Principal; Serve to mediate and advocate for students in problem situations; Monitor designated areas assigned by the Principal within the school setting; Provide support for diffusing potential conflict situations; Serve as a mentor to students; Maintain a degree of high visibility among students and staff Behavior plans Implementing behavior plans designed by consultants, directly with clients and their parents Data collection Observing client behavior and documenting responses to stimuli, which can be used by BCBAs Confidentiality, protecting client privacy by safeguarding sensitive information and only sharing it with authorized personnel Communication with staff and parents Keeping clients, parents, caregivers, and others involved in the client's care updated on their progress Administer Assessments Gathering information about a client's behavior and skills to help develop behavior plans and interventions Collaboration Providing one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce problematic behaviors
