Job Summary

• The LTC - Clinical Coordinator is accountable for performing professional nursing functions, utilizing the nursing process to provide total nursing care to residents.
• Has a knowledge of and ability to utilize appropriate resident care protocol relating to the physical and psychological needs of geriatric residents.
• Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is responsible for the outcome of nursing care delivered.
• Demonstrates leadership and coaches other staff members.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the resident/customer's status.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
• Promotes and nurtures Nano Nagle Village's philosophy of resident centered care.
• Support the Presentation and Benedictine Sisters' philosophy, mission, objectives, and values of stewardship, hospitality, and compassion as they relate to the health care ministry.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• Associate's degree required.
• 8 annual CEU's.
• 3 - 5 years nursing experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
  • Occasional call time (Will respond to after-hour calls from facility if unable to handle the situation. May require you to come in after hours or pick up some floor-scheduled shifts if needed)

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $25.25 - $36.50 per hour
