  • Shift Timing: Morning Shift 06:30 - 15:00 Hours Monday to friday (8-10 Hours Shift/40 hours a week)
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
  • Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
  • Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
  • Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • WI License: 8-10 hr shifts with varying start times of and shift end times of 1500 and 1700
  • Call: based on department needs but usually an average of one weekday night () per week and one weekend per month (1700 Friday to 0700 Monday) 8-10 oncall shifts per month
  • Holiday call rotating with staff
  • Experience: 2-5 years experience working in the cardiac cath lab, critical care experience preferred.
  • Ability to cover two sites of care, at times, in the same day
  • May need to float to other sites within a 40 mile radius.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • Active unencumbered RN Wisconsin state license
  • One year of Epic experience
