Position Summary:

The Events Marketing Manager drives the strategy for sales, promotion and branding of corporate events. The Event Marketing Manager optimizes deployment of resources, and enhances the event experience. The role is responsible for event related projects, management directly to the Director of Events at Total Life Changes.



Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with director of events and marketing team to develop event
    strategy and promotion
  • Spearhead management of event platform and ticket sales
  • Manage all aspects of event attendee communications
  • Interact with key decisions makers
  • Work with in-house design team to ensure events accurately represent
    the TLC and event specific brand
  • Responsible for ordering and tracking event inventory including
    marketing collateral, presentations, giveaways and prizes, equipment,
    etc.
  • Provide logistics support for events. Tasks include scheduling, vendor
    management, organizing, and storing content related to events
  • Manage event support staff on the road (schedule, breaks, branded
    attire, behavior, communication, etc.)

Position Skills, Education and Experience required:

  • 2+ years of related marketing or event experience, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, event planning or related discipline preferred, but not required
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and
    onsite personnel
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • Proficiency in Cvent preferred (and/or other Event related software programs)
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You are creative, innovative, and always think outside the box
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
  • Confident with a dynamic personality
  • Capable of standing comfortably for up to eight hours a day, working
    long hours during or near events
  • Up to 15% travel
