DIRECTOR OF LOGISTICS RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the logistics operations and fleet, including all employees, managers, warehouses, trucks and related support equipment. Interfaces directly with Operations leadership and reports directly to President and CEO of multi billion dollar organization. Develops and implement detailed plans for suppliers and warehousing, ensuring that warehouses, distribution centers and retail customers have the right products in the right place at the right time. Manage the ERP system to drive operational performance. Ensure ERP utilization throughout the organization. Provides customer service and support, interfacing with key customers and stakeholders and doing what it takes to makes sure they always have what they need, and quickly remedying it when they do not - while implementing corrective actions and procedures to ensure that mistakes are corrected the first time, every time. Provides strategic, “buck stops here” overall leadership experience to entire business unit. We meed someone who will run this like they are CEO of the logistics fleet - because one day soon they may be.
