Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Hiring for Entry Level Electrical Engineer!!
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated newly graduated Electrical Engineer to assist with various technical tasks and projects. This position will provide you with valuable experience in design, documentation, and hands-on engineering work. You will work closely with our engineering team and gain insight into the practical application of your academic knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions.
• Develop and document technical theory of operations for design work.
• Create and manage plans and reports, including charts and graphs.
• Engage in basic circuit design, analysis, schematic capture, and simple PCB design.
• Troubleshoot using common lab equipment and perform basic electronics assembly and soldering.
• Select parts and develop bills of materials.
• Design and write software code for products or testing purposes.
• Assemble cables and prototypes.
• Adhere to Power Device SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) policies and standards.
• Follow the Power Device Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Core Competencies:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel for scientific charting and graphing.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles related to your degree program.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
• Experience with basic test equipment (e.g., DMM, Oscilloscope) is desirable.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 1 internship experience in Electrical Engineering
• Limited use and/or application of basic technical principles, concepts, and practices.
• Ability to work on problems of limited scope and follow standard practices and procedures.
• Work is closely supervised with specific, detailed instructions provided.
