<strong>Electronic Records Management Analyst</strong><br><br><strong>Office of Records and Regulatory Support</strong><br><br><strong>Job Summary: </strong>This is professional work developing and implementing electronic records management strategies, policies, and procedures. <br><br><strong>Job duties include:</strong><br>&bull; Collaborates with management to develop and implement records management strategies, policies, and procedures. Provides expertise for the design, evaluation, and implementation of the District's electronic recordkeeping systems to ensure they meet state and federal requirements for electronic records. Recommends standard classifications and develop retention-compliant file plans. Assists in the planning and design of vital records protection and disaster recovery program for District records.<br>&bull; Collaborates routinely with the Office of Information Technology to offer expert advice on records management during systems development and systems migrations for work units. Offer specialized guidance in integrating records management functionality into the District's enterprise architecture, ensuring that information systems seamlessly incorporate the necessary records management features relevant to the records and information assets they create and maintain. Addresses challenges posed by electronic records including migration policies, preservation, and emulation stratgies. Identifies necessary resources for the development and implementation of strategies for access and preservation of information. <br>&bull; Acts as a liason between Office of General Counsel (OGC), Information Technology, and Records Management to safeguard effective handling and preservation of Electronically Stored Information (ESI). Contributes to the legal discovery process by collecting and analyzing ESI to ensure compliance and support legal proceedings.<br>&bull; Works closely with the Records Manager to design and deliver an effective Records Management training program for new hires and department records coordinators. Additionally, gathers and assesses retention and disposition recommendations from users to enhance our policies and procedures.<br>&bull; Collaborates with IT to ensure adherence to appropriate protocols and established procedures for securing, storing, managing, and disposing of sensitive records.<br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br><br>A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, information science, library science or related field and four years of progressively more responsible experience in electronic records management. <br><br>A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, information science, library science or related field can substitute for one year of the required experience. <br><br>Professional experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. <br><br><strong>Physical Requirements/Working Environment:</strong><br><br>General office environment. <br><br><strong>Additional Details</strong>:<br><br>Salary Range: $58,344.00 - $72,924.80<br><br>Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.<br><br>Benefits include Hybrid work schedule, Florida Retirement System, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, paid leave and holidays, professional development and wellness program.<br><br>Your application will receive careful consideration and, if selected for an interview, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
