The Opportunity

As an RN at Harbor Medical, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch healthcare services to our patients. You will be responsible for managing patients on Coumadin therapy, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to successfully implement treatment plans will be essential in delivering outstanding care.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients on Coumadin therapy and adjust dosages as necessary
  • Educate patients on Coumadin therapy, including potential side effects and precautions
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Perform regular patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs and lab results
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns

Location : 541 Main Street, South Weymouth

Hours : Monday - Friday either 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility

Requirements

    • Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
    • Proven experience in managing patients on Coumadin therapy
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
    • Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
