This position is primarily responsible for assisting with the oversight of Environmental, Health, and Safety function for all company facilities nationwide.
What You Get To Do:
- Facilitate monthly EHS meetings with plant management and makes recommendations based on collective input and observations (audits, injury reports, employee feedback, etc).
- Lead audits at all company facilities and makes recommendations in matters of significance, such as corrective actions to address audit finding and regulatory violations and/or other guidance to prevent violations/findings.
- Assist with the oversight of environmental compliance: Applies for, submits and maintains permits required by governing agencies related to environmental and compliance regulations for all company locations.
- In conjunction with the Corp EHS Manager, implements and administers activities and programs to improve PG working conditions as related to environmental, health and safety to minimize the risk of injury, loss, and danger to persons, property or the environment.
- Review and audit training records for accuracy and compliance. Manages Safety Data Sheet for all company locations.
- Manage and administrates the Company EHS Incentive Program nationwide.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma is required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental health and safety.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
