Overview

Position Summary:

The HIM Integrity Analytics Lead coordinates activities of the Data Integrity Services Team by providing oversight and supervision of all electronic and paper processes related to the Medical Record. Accountable for essential functions such as reporting to the Hospital Census, providing EMR access for clinicians, enrolling patients and families into the patient portal, managing and providing access to outside providers and updating patient demographics. Will perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on patient records in accordance with Federal and State Regulations. Areas include: record processing functions, revenue management and the master patient index. Promotes positive customer relations through prompt and courteous service in this fast paced, high volume, customer centered environment. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

3+ years’ experience in Health Information Management – Acute Hospital Facility; 5+ years of HIM experience in a large acute care hospital preferred. Experience with EMR is necessary with emphasis in Revenue and Deficiency Management. Strong understanding of Federal and State Regulations related to medical records. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide prompt and courteous service. Experience in managing data integrity and patient/physician portal systems. Ability to analyze and interpret patient records quantitatively and qualitatively. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Education/Licensure/Certification:

High School Graduate or equivalent with knowledge of medical terminology. RHIT or working towards credential. Schedule:

Monday-Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Scale Information

$52,208.00-$90,178.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
