Early Intervention RN Service Coordinator - Full Time Schedule Monday- Friday Pay $68,640 - 72,800 Annually -PLUS INCENTIVE (This is an hourly position/ Based on a 40 hour week) Are you looking to make a difference in a childs life? The role of the Registered Nurse /Service Coordinator is to work in partnership and enable an eligible child and the childs family/caregivers to receive the rights, procedural safeguards, and services that are authorized to be provided under the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Early Intervention program. Massachusetts State License is required. Experience working with children required. Spanish speaking individuals encouraged to apply. A valid drivers license as well as a qualifying criminal background check and motor vehicle record are required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Determine Early Intervention services in collaboration with families using the Individualized Family Service Plan. * Perform home visits, screening, assessment and educational group activities in the natural environments while adhering to all Massachusetts Department of Public Health Early Intervention Operational Standards. * Attending parent meetings, community case conference, transitional activities, or relevant activities that may include providing insight, information, referrals, or advocacy for child and family. * Maintain and update all clinical records in the Early Intervention Client System. * Provide co-treatment capacity consultation to other team members in matters requiring discipline expertise. * Prepare for certification as an Early Intervention Specialist within three years of employment. * Maintain expertise in the Early Childhood Education field through attendance at meetings, in-services, continuing education, or other appropriate educational programs. * Maintain assigned productivity level on a monthly basis. * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, division management team member, or division director. * Participate in all staff meetings and required training sessions, including in-service training, as scheduled. * Maintain all program and Agency required training QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge obtained through attainment of an associates, bachelors, or masters degree from an accredited institution as determined by the Early Intervention Operational Standards. * Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. * Current certification in Infant/Child CPR and first aid. * Evidence of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. * Knowledge and skill obtained through at least two years of experience in pediatric or maternal health nursing required. * Skill in communicating and working both independently and within a team. * A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid drivers license required. * Ability to provide a current copy of all required health records.
