Wound Care | Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialized wound care to patients following established protocols and hospital standards.
  • Manage patient intake, discharge, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and the program's Medical Director to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education.
  • Assist in the vein clinic post Healogics Vein Clinic training.
  • Perform case manager duties including assessments, care plan development, and patient advocacy.
  • Conduct Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) and may assume the role of Hyperbaric Safety Director post-training.
  • Document patient care activities in compliance with Healogics policies.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (AS Nursing) required
  • BS Nursing preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a clinical RN in an acute care setting
  • Experience in wound care, medical-surgical nursing, or home health preferred
Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of computerized nursing systems
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teaching skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with superior interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory/accrediting requirements
