Exciting Opportunity: Join a Leading Neurology Practice in the Boston Area!

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our esteemed neurology practice in the beautiful town of Foxboro, MA. We are seeking candidates with previous neurology experience or a strong interest in the field. Ideal candidates will have great energy and a positive attitude. This role involves assisting in general neurology and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with no weekends or on-call duties.

The APP will deliver direct patient care to neurology patients, acting as an independent provider closely collaborating with neurologists to care for established patients. Responsibilities include conducting histories and physical exams for follow-up patient visits, ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures, providing patient education, participating in patient/family intervention, counseling patients and families on quality issues related to multiple sclerosis disorder, and responding to medical emergencies as necessary. Additionally, the role involves completing disability forms, insurance medical authorizations, and worker compensation forms, as well as supporting the operation of a 6-chair infusion center.

While the neurology practice is 100% outpatient, the neurologists have courtesy staff privileges at a nonprofit community hospital. The practice comprises five neurologists, three advanced practice providers, physical and occupational therapists, a neurophysiology tech, and neuro-trained nurses. The office features a neurophysiology lab with video EEG monitoring and EMG, along with a 6-chair infusion suite. The incumbent neurologists specialize in Headache, Neuromuscular disorders, Epilepsy, MS, Parkinson's, and Dementia, actively participating in several MS clinical trials.
